The History of Pigsty Racing
|
Pigsty Racing was established in 1979 by Tim Myall. Tim trained as an engineer in the RAF before starting his career in commercial aeronautical engineering. Tim started racing Austin Sevens in 1979 and went on to win many races with clubs such as the VSCC and 750 Motor Club. Tim is still racing and set the fastest lap at the 750 MC festival at Silverstone this year. Given the reputation of the car with it's unforgettable name it was decided that the company should also be be called Pigsty. Building cars and engines to customer specifications, the company quickly gained momentum and became the most prevalent builder of racing Austin Sevens in the world.
