Pigsty Racing
Historic motorsport is our history...
Pigsty Racing was established in 1979 and remains the worlds leading Austin 7 racing specialist, building race engines, complete race cars and providing race support at national and international historic motorsport events.
We have also developed many other marques in recent years, including pre-war Aston Martin, Riley, BMW among others including later historic series.
Car Preparation
As well as building Austin 7 specials we offer seasonal preparation of customers' cars ensuring exceptional reliability and a competitive edge.
Race Engines
Pigsty Racing has a long history building race engines for historic applications. We are most famous for our Austin 7 Engines which have proved the most successful Austin 7 competition engines.
In recent years we have also developed engines for Riley, Aston Martin, BMW and others.
Engineering
In recent years Pigsty have increased their engineering capability to include:
- 4 axis CNC milling
- Turning
- TIG welding, MIG welding and plasma cutting
- Boring and honing
- Sheet metal work including complex compound curvature
- Tube bending and manifold fabrication
Race Support
Pigsty Racing offer full race support including transportation of race cars to and from events and full mechanical backup throughout historic race meetings. The team attend all VSCC and Historic Austin 7 Racing Association events as well as Motor Racing Legends and international events such a Pau Historic Grand Prix, Circuit Des Remparts D'Angouleme and The Spa 6 hours among others.
