In recent years Pigsty have increased their engineering capability to include:
- 4 axis CNC milling
- Turning
- TIG welding, MIG welding and plasma cutting
- Boring and honing
- Sheet metal work including complex compound curvature
- Tube bending and manifold fabrication
We can undertake virtually any type of historic motorsport engineering, working to extremely tight tolerances, able to bore and hone cylinders to within .0001". This gives us the ability to select bore clearances most suited to your motorsport discipline.
Pigsty Racing manufacture Colsibro valve guides to almost any ID/OD for many applications.
Due to our 4 axis CNC milling machine we can cut gears enabling us to create a far wider range of ratios.
Almost any machining job can be completed to the highest precision.
We can cut multi-angle valve seats gaining power in most cases.
Fabrication is another speciality with products including bespoke catch / header / fuel tanks, radiators, full exhaust systems
Fabrication of front axles as well as producing bespoke half shafts and other parts for rear axles.
Our stainless steel front and rear dampers transform the handling of any Austin 7 due to a massive increase in roll-damping without making the ride unduly harsh.
During the rebuild of supercharges we often undertake machining housings and casing to allow fitment of modern Viton oil seals to replace less effective pre-war seals.
